General Ammunition Shipping Terms

Before placing an order, please review our guide on state and local ammo shipping restrictions before placinf an order. By purchasing ammunition from accammo.com, you guarantee that you are at least 18 years old to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition, and at least 21 years old to purchase handgun ammunition. All buyers must be legal residents of the United States and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the possession of ammunition.
 

Total Shipping Bans (No Ammunition Sales) 

Due to complex local regulations and shipping infrastructure limits, we cannot ship ammunition to the following locations:

Alaska & Hawaii 

Washington, D.C.

U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, etc.) 

Conditional Shipping States and Ammo Shipping Restrictions

We can legally ship ammunition to the following states only if the buyer submits the required legal documentation immediately after placing an order. Send all matching credentials to info@accammo.com before checkout completion.
 

1. California

  • Ammunition cannot ship directly to a residential home address.
  • All orders must ship directly to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder or a California-certified Ammunition Vendor.
  • Exceptions: We can ship directly to your home if you provide a valid California FFL (Type 03 – Collector)along with a matching California COE (Certificate of Eligibility).

2. Illinois

We can ship directly to your residential address once we verify your credentials:
  • You must provide a clear, valid copy of your FOID Card (Firearm Owner’s Identification).
  • You must provide a clear, valid copy of your Illinois Driver’s License or State ID.
  • The shipping address on your order must match the address listed on your FOID card or State ID.
  • Note: We cannot ship ammunition to the city of Chicago or surrounding restricted municipalities in Cook County.

3. New Jersey

  • You must provide a valid copy of your New Jersey Firearms Purchaser Identification Card (FPID) for all handgun ammunition orders.
  • Rifle and shotgun ammunition do not require a permit, but the billing and shipping names must match your valid government-issued ID. 

4. New York

  • Ammunition cannot ship directly to a home address.
  • All ammunition shipments must go to a registered FFL Dealer or a registered New York State Ammunition Seller to process the transfer and state-mandated background check. 

5. Connecticut

We can ship directly to your home address once we receive a copy of one of the following valid permits:
  • Connecticut Pistol Permit
  • Eligibility Certificate for Pistol or Revolver
  • Long Gun Eligibility Certificate
  • Ammunition Certificate (along with a matching State Driver’s License or ID).

6. Massachusetts

  • All orders must ship to a licensed FFL dealer or a resident holding a valid LTC (License to Carry) or FID (Firearms Identification Card).

To prevent shipping delays, please submit your required state documentation or FFL information immediately after placing your order.

Guidelines for Residential Delivery States (IL, NJ, CT, MA)

Please take a clear, brightly lit photograph or scan of your matching state documentation (such as your FOID card, LTC, or FPID) alongside your valid state driver’s license. The name and address on your permits must match the shipping details on your accammo.com order invoice. 
 

Guidelines for Dealer Transfer States (CA, NY)

If your state requires shipments to route directly to a dealer, please have your chosen local gun shop or ammunition vendor email a copy of their active Federal Firearms License (FFL) or state dealer certificate to info@accammo.com with your order number referenced in the text body.

Order Hold & Cancellation Policy 

Orders placed from restricted locations will remain securely on “Compliance Hold” for up to 5 business days pending credential verification. Orders lacking valid documentation after this window will be canceled automatically.
